Sedation Dentistry
Sedation dentistry involves patients taking a sedative (in pill or intravenous form) beforetheir procedure, allowing patients to become drowsy and, in most cases, sleep right through their dental procedures. The patient becomes extremely relaxed and drifts into a sleep-like state, allowing the dentist to perform the necessary procedures while the patient is stress and fear free.
